Thank God, “Twitteritis” is dying off.

Twitter is good for a few of things:

  1. Real-time customer service
  2. Real-time product support (different from above)
  3. Celebrities (real-time, celeb-endorsed paparazzi, essentially)
  4. RSS feeds
  5. Geeks
  6. Spam

For everyone else, it gets in the way and causes anxiety for those who can’t figure it out – and their social media consultants.

Twitter will soon go of the way of MySpace …
