I found a new business classified site called PennyForPound.com. It has businesses for sale and desired (those looking for a business can post their request, too) and is totally free. No word on how long that will last, but it seems a pretty good marketplace to buy or sell a business.
Right now they have two categories (online and offline businesses), we’ll see if they add more later.
I spoke with the owner and he said he got his inspiration from Plentyoffishowner, Markus Frind, and craigslist – which is pretty obvious based on the simple, scaled down design.
Its brand new, we’ll see how it catches on and fills up.
